In the latest issue of American Rifleman ,pg. 16 under Product Reviews, is a new post ban AR180 from Armalite, the AR-180B. It has a stamped steel upper and polymer lower. All parts are interchangeable with the original AR180. It also has some kind of muzzle brake. I didn't find any info on it on the Armalite web page.

Strange that theres no info on it on ArmaLites page. They were advertising the release of the AR180B earlier this year. I ordered one in June and am patiently waiting. Back then dealer cost was $480.00. Your right, I just checked the site and they took it down, only the sign up is left. They must be having serious production problems.

There was a recall because they got substandard parts from a subcontractor. They are still trying to work the bugs out.

ArmaLite, Will you be honoring the previous orders (the one I placed through my local FFL in July) and will fill them when the corrected rifles are available? I would be really happy if I could recieve mine by Christmas. Thank you OSA
