This morning I wake up to find that my computer has somehow fried during the night!!

When I tried to boot up it would turn on for 1-2 second (literally) and then just shut down.  

I knew it was either 1 of 3 things.  

1)  Power Supply
2)  Motherboard
3)  RAM

Swapped power supply, problem still prevelent.  Decided to then try the MB.  Go out, spend $100  on a new MB.  Swap the bitch out and it runs.  Only now I can't get to the SCSI CD roms!  Argh.  Go down into the computer boneyard in the basement and find a 12x ide cd-rom.  Plug it in and about an hour later I get it recognized.  Then fight recomfiguring the whole darn computer.  I still have a conflict on the soundcard but who cares.  I will deal with that down the line.  

Sometimes life just sux.  Now I gotto goto work at 5:00am and do year end inventory.  Whoa is me.  Should be at wrk until 9:00 pm.  

ARGH!!!!! Thanks for letting me vent.  

Ohh to top it all off, the dog just jumped up on the counter and ate a hamburger off the counter that I was gonna eat.  If I didn't invest so much time in that dog, and loved it so much, it would be out behind the barn right now.

If I was related to him, I think my computer would have fallen and hit me in the head, I would have fallen to the ground, vomited and then choked on the vomit. The wife would have found me the next morning and called 911. On the way to the hospital a parade of nude women would have marched in front of the ambulance, the driver would have crashed looking at them, I would have rolled out the back and slid into a sewer where I would have to live off of moss and fungus for 2 weeks before anyone found me.

Ahhh, it ain't so bad now is it.
