The cash you'd spend on an M1 can buy you a nice reloading setup.



Of course, those Garands won't be around forever.

Get a Garand and install an adjustable gas plug.
Or build a Garand with an adjustable gas plug, that's what I did.
Or, more sensibly, look at your collection and purchase a duplicate of something you already have, be it a rifle, a k of ammo, a box of mags, a spare parts kit, etc.
