For another AWB if it were to theoretically come tomorrow...

(Poll Incoming)

I am not, I only have 45 magazines and that's split between 12 guns...

I'm getting more soon...

ETA: This thread got me thinking about it...

I'd like to get a Sig 556.  But I have enough mags and lowers to keep me happy for a while.

Your assuming that the existing guns will be grandfathered..........

Yes but, if they want to take away existing AWs, they won't get mine...

I'm sure as hell not willing to die for the second but, I've been hearing about a recent string of "Tragic Boating Accidents" and I fear that someday - I could be a victim of one...

Doesn't matter to me one way or another as far as that goes.

The question is whether I am ready.

I am.

That is what they all say but we know just about everyone us will be turning them in when the .gov knocks on the door.

Hell no.. I only have 2 AR's, about 65 20/30 rndrs for the 2 of them, and only 2 Beta mags....
For my Glock, I have no where near enough mags......

I need about 40 more ar mags for personal use, and about 100 more for bartering....Need more glock mags for the same reason....

You are assuming the government knows the lowers I have are in my possession.

ETA  Yes I know I just said that on a public forum.

Yesish

I'd be good to go if I had to be, but I always want more.

You go to an AWB with the guns and parts you have, not the guns and parts you wish you had.

A perma ban?

I don't believe any of us are ready for one of those.

Not as ready as I'd like to be. I need more mags and have only two AR's, one still in its ban configuration. I need to get lowers and such but I just CAN'T swing it right now

Hell, I was ready for the original one. I have upgraded since 2004, though!

Same goes for mags. I'm still sitting on unopened Labelle 30 rounders...before the arrival of green followers...ancient history, I guess.

I need more ammo, though. I can never have enough ammo.

I want more mags.  Like, 50 more.  And maybe another Beta.

But I'm more worried about a new one impossing ammo restrictions on "military-high-thrust-per-squeeze-spray-blasters" or whatever they are going to call them.

Which of our essential liberties are you willing to die for? Free speech? The right to be secure in your home from unlawful searches? The right to a trial by a jury of your peers? The right not to incriminate yourself? The right to practice your religion as you choose? The right to vote for your elected leaders? The second amendment what keeps all other rights safe.

They tell us, sir, that we are weak -- unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

If you won't fight for the second, you won't fight for anything.
