The good news: The voices in my head are gone. The bad news: The spiders are back.

I'm a guy. I have PMS, and I got a gun. What do you think? [;D]

my Psychiatrist seems to think so..dunno.

everyone has their issues. and if they say they don't, well...that is probably one of them. the differnce is in how people let them effect their ability to function. and if people chose to recognize and confront them...or even consider them issues. if a person is fine with their attitudes...and genuinely happy...no matter how horrible others find them...is it really an issue?

Most of my multiple personalities are stable. Except the A$$hole one. MM419

I think I am perfectly sane. But all my 'friends' call me 'Wildman' and say that I am 'scarey'. I have been told at times that I can be 'too intense' whateverthefuck that means.

I am.

SHUTUPGOAWAYIDONTWANTTOTALKABOUTIT Seriously, though: I don't have [i]all[/i] of my shit together, but I know my limitations and work around them.

well, i don't know about your definition of stable (good and truthful? i've know some angels that we're righteously f*cked in the head), but i think i get your gist. i love being alive, and i'm like a weeble when it comes to adversity (weebles wobble but they won't fall down, for those not in the know). that's as stable as it gets, as far as i know.

No, neuroticism runs rampant through all aspects of my life. Where do you want this thread to go MM?

Self-help? I thought that was last decade or was it the decade before that one or the one before that one? Seriously, I believe the older you get the more you understand the human condition - we ain't, no one is perfect and perfection is different to many. I have very few good friends, many friends, many acquaintances and I believe few if any enemies. I live by the golden rule, am not a "preachie", although I do mentor many because of the nature on my job. I love my wife, my kids, our families and my dogs. [soapbox] I forget ... what was the question? [;)]

I'm married. What does that tell you?
Link Posted: 6/19/2003 3:32:04 PM EDT
I'm as stable as they come. Whether or not others will agree is completely irrelevernt[:D].

I'm as grounded as I possibly can be. I also no my limits, my flaws and my pluses. I understand my insecurities, my fears, and I try to make myself a better person every minute of every day. [:D] Can I have a cookie now?

If the feds, mjtf, state doj, and agent provocateurs would just quit trying to justify their own jobs and leave people alone, then everything would be fine.

I’m out of bubblegum. I’m out of .223. I’m not out of .308 nor 9mm. And my trigger finger feels like it was dunked into liquid itching lotion. Next moron that asks that question gets to hold some targets for me while go Rock & Roll.[heavy]

Nope. I handle stress poorly. I scream at other drivers in traffic. Prone to self-pity and harbor deep resentments from the past.

... I dated a gal for quite some time and she had this odd (but arousing) habit of biting in the heat of passion sometimes. Now, this gal is about as straight and sane (beautiful beyond imagination) as they come, but to this day she embarrassingly shy's away from the topic and cannot explain why she did it. ... Oh how I wish I could get her to do it some more [:(]

I freely admit my flaws. The thing is, at a certain age you either realize what your flaws are and try to work around them or you just fall into denial that never ends.

Seriously?? Yes, I think I am. Why? Well, I am 38 y.o. and have been married 17 years with 2 kids. I have gone thru a lot. I don't believe much can surprise me at this point. I may not always be happy but I am usually serene. ANd that's good enough. SGtar15

Geez, sgtar15 I thought you were 19. Man, the old is young, and the young is...not-so-young (but still youngish).

In all honesty, I think I am getting there. I’m at that critical juncture in life where the open-mindedness of my youth is beginning to fade, and “who I am” is starting to permanently congeal. It’s so funny too. Who I was 3 years ago is totally unrecognizable to who I was a year ago- and who I was a year ago is a distant memory of who I really am today. But for the first time in my life, I really know who I am. Flaws and imperfections are there, no doubt. But I try to be aware of them, and change them as life’s time-clock permits. Personally speaking, I am a tad too cynical for my age, a tad too pessimistic, and occasionally reckless with other people’s feelings. I am working on this- and I think I have made great strides. But for all my faults, for the first time in my life, I am really glad with who I am. This now resonates outward, and other people are glad with me too.

Normally, usually and generally I am. Until..............someone goes out of their way to piss me off. Once they "draw first blood", I will use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wounds, death and destruction upon them in the minimum amount of time! [rocket] Other than that Miss_Magnum, I'm just a cheap date but a good time. [8D]

Emotionally I'm tough as nails but it wears on me sometimes and I withdraw from things. I used to be so lost I could barely find the head but I'm getting much better. I have had some trying times and I've survived. In some instances, like emotional ones, what doesn't kill you does make you stronger!
