I know that onions are VERY bad...do something to the blood.

Raisins are DEADLY, so are grapes IIRC.

What about olives? I fucking love em', and my dog gets a little bit of most of the food I eat.

Not a vet, but I had a little terrier when I was growing up that used to eat grapes like they were goin out of style.  Lived a long time.  No clue on olives.  Heard Chocolate is bad Juju for pooches though, and the same dog went apeshit for it until I heard he wasn't supposed to have it.  He survived fine.  IDK what to think.   Dog probably won't eat what'll kill it.  At least not more than once.

We had a Keeshond that devoured an entire bag of Hershey's Kisses, and all she did was crap out chunks of foil.

Not sure about olives though...

Since olives are mostly fat it should be ok, but I'd still ask a vet to be sure.

Grapes made it into the ASPCA database with only a couple dogs having renal failure.  The owners said their dogs ate grapes, but no other toxicology tests were done to show what actually caused the problem or to show that grapes were the culprit.  Now everyone is just repeating that grapes are deadly with no proof or testing.  As the poisoning story progresses on the Internet, it gradually gets more dramatic and more dogs mysteriously get added with absolutely no evidence.

My Vet does not think grapes are bad, and my dog eats them.

I have a mini schnauzer, and until reading this post I had no idea grapes are not such a great idea for dogs.  I have been feeding my dog green grapes for a while and he loves em.  I just now googled foods not safe for dogs and sure enough grapes and raisins were on it.  My dog seems fine though.

yep, i'm in on grapes, dog loves them frozen.  I have also given her left over salad, with onions, and she eats that as well.  my sisters dog ate nearly a whole bag of holloween candy wrappers and all, no problem other than the wrappers come out the other end as well.  heck some dogs eat their own crap.

I had a cat that thought olives were some kind of dope like catnip. He would roll on one and rub himself all over it for five minutes then eat it.
