Can a person claim that, wanting to buy every gun that he falls in love with is a mental illness or an afflicition.

Case in point: I cannot look at a firearm magazine or websight without the desire to spend large chunks of cash that I can't afford!

BRD is a bad thing to acquire.

I would say most of us here are gun nuts.

Some people like their booze. Some like their tobacco. Some like their women. Some like their cars. Some other men or women.

Some men like the fishing. Some men like the fowling. Some like to hear to roar of a cannon ball.

Some like both.

I like things that go bang.

Yes. Yes I am. Apparently I am a racist as well.

Guns are better than pets. They don't mess up your flooring, make you sneeze, or require a sitter when you leave town.

I have to take a cold shower after looking through all the gun pron on the web !

its bad for me too, and I just got started.

Looking through the picture threads especially in the suppressor and SBR forum, is very bad for my wallet. So far I have been able to resist the urge, but I don't know how much longer I can fight the urge.

Haven't you ever heard the story about the old bull and the young bull?

An old bull and a young bull were standing on a hill one day, looking down into a pasture filled with cows.

The young bull, in his youthful exuberance, said: "Let's run down this hill and fuck one of those cows!"

The old bull looked at him calmly and patiently, and replied: "No. Let's WALK down this hill, and fuck ALL of those cows!"

As you get older in this hobby, you will become more like the old bull.

Take your time, figure out what you REALLY want, and do it right.

To answer the OP's question, no I do not consider myself a 'gun nut'.
To say 'nut' implies that it is a bad thing, or that there is something wrong with it.

will "therapy" be covered under obamacare? BRD is expensive.

So is Revolveritis and Lever Action Fever.

Muzzle control too.

It's all just muscle memory.

Yes, I have it!
Link Posted: 9/19/2009 4:07:12 AM EST
me too. I've got guns I rarely shoot but still want to own. My gun club only has a 100 yard range, but I want a rifle that can shoot 600 yards, even if I never get a chance to shoot it that far.....I might one day. Some guns I own are just beautiful and I don't want to mar or blemish the finish. I'm a gun nut. I'll admit it.

Dude, you realize this was your 1911 post.

See what I mean, I see calibers, model numbers, etc. everywhere I go....sad and torturous in a way.
Must be a gun nut.
