Yeah, I admit I went and saw it at the theater today.  I had to first FIND a theater that was showing it, and then drive quite a bit further than normal to see it.

The initial opening of the movie was fantastic.  It led me to believe this would be a hilarious movie, I actually had pretty high hopes early on.  The beginning is actually worth the six bucks to see.  After that, the film tapers off.  It really didn't have much of a story at all.  A few cameo appearances from characters featured on past episodes, but nothing really remarkable.  I found myself bored several times during the movie.  It does not live up to the hype in my opinion.  Unless you are a real fan of the show, then don't waste your time.  You probably wouldn't understand most of it anyways.

ATHF is usually pretty funny for 15 minutes, but I wouldn't have thought that the style of humor would carry over to a 90 minute feature.  Seriously, I don't think they'd be able to drag anything out for 30 minutes and have it be worth watching.

The opening 5 minutes are absolutely hilarious. I just about died laughing in the theater. After that it kind of goes downhill. Some chuckles here and there, but nothing really to write home about.

What I disliked the most was how they kept having the side characters (the Green and Orange German-accent space dudes are fucking annoying) butting in for random shit. I like the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past From The Future usually, but he was just annoying in this one. I've never liked the Mooninites much either. The new characters they showed were stupid.

Too much side character involvement, not enough Carl, Meatwad, Master Shake, and Frylock.
