I just picked up the April issue last night. Lots of great articles in there, as usual.
I just read the article by Ron Hood about the 'shake-to-charge' flashlights, and he warns the readers to be wary of cheap knock-off variants selling for about $2.00. Just so no one here falls for this obvious scam, here's a link to a recent thread on this very subject:
Unfortunately, many of the pictures are no longer up. I can vouch for what the author of the post says, because I was given one of the el cheapos. I was the last one to post; the thread is 3 pages long.
Just a heads-up for those who didn't see it.
A friend of mine has one of the better ones, and he swears by it. Anyone else here had good luck with these?
I bought one of those "Jack-Off" lights. It was a waste of time, money & energy!
Although it did make my right arm a little stronger!
