Would you get an extended warranty for a Whirlpool steam front loading washer and dryer? I heard a stat that 1/8 new washers will have some sort of problem.

Washer = Yes

Dryer = No

If you can get a deal for buying it on the set I would tell you to go for it. I see a fucking ton of Washers take shits after 3-6 yrs, and the dryers mostly all using complex motherboards as well.  The stuff they sell today is not your mom and dad's 50yr old Maytags, they are computers that shake and get wet and spin.


I would consider a price $299 and under to be a good deal for a front load set 5yr service plan.
