How many "branches" or "families" where/are there in the Apache lineage? How many tribes where there?

Nednhi, Bedonkohe, Lipans, Chihenne, Chiricahua.....I'm getting confused!

OK, now I've read a bit more on the Apaches and am confused about the various sub-tribes of the Chiricahua.

Chokonen were Chiracahua....right?

Chihenne were Chiricahua.....right?

How about the Bedonkohe?  Geronimo's (Goyahkla's)people? Wasn't Geronimo considered a Chiricahua?

If anyone knows, please tell me!
