Has anyone ever put one of those scope mounts that are two levels on an AR,the one that extends over the hand guards with weaver like rails cut into it  to install a flashlight or laser?I want to get one and put a red dot scope on the lower part of the mount for a lower profile, but I don't know if it will fit or be high enough to see over the front sight.

Yep, I have one that I have been using as a inexpensive alternative until I ended up with a screaming deal on the Aim-Point forward mount ...
Would you like to buy the two level mount for $30 shipped...?
