The haunted tank was it. I heard they made a compilation book too.

I bought a couple copies of that, and Vietnam Combat.

I've got half a dozen in the basement somewhere.

I loved how JEB Stuart would guide them.

What they could accomplish with a 37 mm was a bit of a stretch.

My era was when they had the scrapyard tank.

However, the powers to be bring Gen. JEB Stuart to continue his legacy with a new tank and a new crew...

This time, Vertigo Comics has taken over the story in a 5 issue miniseries that puts General JEB Stuart as the guide of an M1A1 Abrams Tank crew during OIF and the commander is, of all people, an African American soldier by the name of... (Wait For it)  Jamal Stuart.

A trait so uncommon in a comic book.  A genre crammed full with more veracity than most bible translations.

+1. How there's been movies made of Batman, Superman, Fantastic Four, etc., but nothing yet for Sgt. Rock and Easy Company is ridiculous. The potential for that movie is enormous!

Where else could you see so many Tigers taken out with a well placed hand grenade in the tread? Lifted those babies right off the ground, I tell ya!

Hell, if Tom Hanks destroyed a Tiger Tank with as well placed .45 bullet to it, then Sgt. Rock can piss on it and make it explode.

Read em all, Gunner and Sarge, Johnny Cloud, the Rock and Easy Co. Should have paid more attention to my schoolwork though and I'd be a retired doctor instead of a retired truckdriver.

You can go to Amazon or better yet, find a local shop and buy there.

They should have the SHOWCASE PRESENTS the HAUNTED TANK compilation.

Has about 500 pages of reprints from the old series. They are in black and white though (to make it cheaper) and it only runs about 16 bucks. I have this and some of the other war series as well. Very good bathroom material.

Hours of reading and if it gets torn up, its only 16 bucks.
