I have been saying this for a while I know several peeps whose sole income is Ebay and they do 10 grand or more a month. No IRS. It's only a matter of time till the IRS steps in.

Yet another reason that Edwards is a clueless fucktard.

I, like ar50troll, know several people who make comfortable tax-free incomes off eBay. One is a self made-millionaire.

That's a lot of mostly non reported income.

eBay is a publically owned and traded company.

You guys are wrong by assuming that ALL of the income derived from eBay is unreported. Most of the merchants that I interact with who are huge ebay-ers use it as an extension of their other online and retail sales.

One of the largest product segments of ebay is used golf equipment. They do nearly $400 million a year in business in just that sector alone. I know this because my CEO owns a golf course, and they do almost as much sales on eBay as they do in the actual pro-shop.

100% of their sales activity is recorded because all the inventory, etc.. is integrated into their accounting systems.

I think it's a massive stretch to say that even 50% of the business on eBay is unreported.
