I didn't exactly make my resolution on New Year's eve,(Dec. 7th), but I have kept my resolution to run four nights a week for one year as of this weekend. I wanted to lose some weight, and keep in shape. I am 32, and feeling like I'm getting old. I have run on and off for about 3 years, but never kept it up for more than a couple of months at a time. I started running at night, this helped a lot. I run 2.6 miles, and normally do it in about 23min. During last summer I had a couple of nights I did it in 13min, just to see how fast I could. It is mostly to lose weight, so the longer time is more productive. I have dropped a few pounds and have to wear a belt with all of my pants now. I even had to buy new belts to fit better. I feel great, and my wife says I look pretty good.

Mine was to get laid at least weekly, and to never use an elevator to climb 10 floors or less. So far, so good- for BOTH resolutions---only a couple more weeks left, and I may have actually made two permanent, healthy life alterations. I did make other resolutions to stop drinking, driving fast, and being an asshole, but maybe next year!
