Looking for one for Windows 2000. Primarly for vacuum tube circuit analysis.

The key word here is CHEAP.

Vacuum tube analysis?  Can I ask what besides guitar amplifiers uses vacuum tubes these days?

Used Spice a lot in the Purdue EET ccourses I took.. 12 years ago....  

Used PSpice (orcad) at work... 10 years ago..

You can download the student version here .. he's got some Vacuum tube stuff for spice here also..

try a google for pspice, mcspice, or berkley spice.

You might have to settle for a dos version

That's the reason. I want to design a 1 Watt practice amp. And maybe a 15-30 Watt amp.

I used to teach electronics. I'm getting back to my roots.

Orcad PSPICE is the only one used at the univ. around here. Student versions are all over the place and are found in the back of most circuit design books.
