Both are good quartz watches.  I believe Pulsar is a value brand put out by Seiko.

I've had a nice Pulsar comparable to the one shown for about 14 years, never had any problems with it.
Highly recommended.

Ihave one of these:

OK watch, shitty flight computer, because bezel is too stiff and numbers and markings too small. No backlight, either. I don't ever want another watch without a backlight.

I've worn Citizens since 1988. Two of them, in fact. An Aqualand and a ProMaster.

The Aqualand did duty from 1988 to 1998, and is still going strong. The Promaster has gone from 1998 to the present. No problems.

Citizen makes great watches. Just don't buy the rubber straps. They suck.

Is there any Indiglo (glow stuff) on the hands? Can you see the time in the dark at all?

Watch threads are my favorite thread in the entire thread kingdom. Aside from threads about pie.

I have that one and a Citizen calibre 5.6..(Sailing chronograph)
I like them both.

The lack of a back light on the ecodrive model hasn't been an issue for me. The observation on the flight computer is correct tho.

Yes, the hands and cardinal points have radium markings... blue instead of the common green. looks kinda cool.

Yea, I was wondering...  With a cockpit like that on your wrist how long does it take to actually figure out the answer to "Parden me, Do you have the time sir?"  .

This is what I wear... I love it, Tag's are the heat. I used to have an F-1 Tag, the original from 10yrs ago, great watch... Survived a 130+mi accident, smashed against the window, still worked.
G-Shock for work/rough stuff.
