I have not seen this on a actual rifle but hear its a good flash hider, any pics to help me make up my mind?

Any excuse to post a pic of my SBR, like the post-whore I am

More on-topic, I believe there is a thread over in the AR forums with pictures of the different flash hiders shooting, to really show the difference.  The Phantom and Vortex both kick ass, but an A2 is pretty good to, on most rifles and with most ammo.

God I hate you...

Oh well, maybe I'll just go order another CMP Garand. You can get those too, right?

I'll get a side-by-side comparison shot later. Personally I'd get another Phantom before I get another Vortex because the design looks better, and the vortex manufacturers are assholes to deal with.

Wait a minute... You have over 5000 posts here and you haven't seen a picture of one of the top 2 aftermarket Flash Hiders?

Do you have your browser set up to not show Pics?

How do you "Not See" a pic of this?

Go to the AR forum, click on the PIC threads, you'll see dozens, if not hundreds.

What front railed tube is that your running DK?

ANdy

Because I don't use it for anything more than a grip, and sometimes a surefire, I'm just using a YHM railed handguard.  It's rock solid on the rifle (after a lot of use), and easier and cheaper than a free-float.

(I do have a free-float on a different rifle - and if I needed it for optics, I obviously would on this one too - but I really like the two-piece one by YHM, and have heard a lot of good stuff about the one M.I. makes as well)
