Anyone have RR wireless internet in the house? Any good? How secure is it? (don't want you wiseguys logging in as staff here from behind the house!!)

Although I am not crazy about it. I might have to resort to roadrunner again (long story, weird local phone company). I've never set up a wireless network, do I have to pay RR to do that, I can't just buy the cards and stuff myself and do it? (I have no idea what I am doing

)

Just get standard internet from them and buy a linksys router
Then let us know and we will walk you through it

it's easy and it's fast. I just pay the $35/month bough a DLink wireless router and my laptop already has the wireless card in it so that was all I needed. It's very easy to setup and I'm not a computer person

I'm tempted to do it, you'd probably do a better job than me and you'd torment yourself too much with your guilty conscience if you used my account for evil.

It's easy to setup but PLEASE put up some for of encryption(go WPA if possible) and do not broadcast your SSID. If you do you're only asking to be violated.

Yeah I know you have to encrypt. A guy I know used the wireless of the guy in the condo next door for years.
