Well, are the kids going to take you shooting today? Mine aren't, too much stuff to be done around here. I hope everyone else can get out though.

no doing family stuff and not the good kind like working on cars or shooting stuff.

What would have been nice would be load up the truck go out in the woods and unload about 1000rds.

Funny you should ask...

Some friends of mine are coming over later and we're gonna go to the range and run some Lake City through the Bushy...[}:D]

Me too!  Yet another flawless performance from Mr. Lake City.  Once again, the LC XM193 was an attention getter...guy came by and said "what the hell are you shooting outta that thing???"

Heh heh...works every time!!![}:D]

Just got back. My son, some sunshine at last and my guns at the range. Nothing better for fathers day.

I just got home from about 2.5 hours at the range.  Zero'd a 1954 Remington in .270 & got moa, shot dad-in-law's K98 bring-back & an M44 I bought about 2 weeks ago for a truck gun.  All of 'em shot better than I.  Happy Dad's day.

Took Dad out to play with the MosinNagant and the 45.  Haven't been to the range with him a 6-6-7 months.  From him talking about it afterward which isn't normal for him, can tell he had a good time.  No targets setup for the rifle, just shooting at the numbered target backing since it was like a monsoon and didn't feel like walking though the lake to targets but damn it was a good afternoon.

No, but I took the number one Son to the Valley forge gun show.  While we were there he said, 'Dad, we need to go shooting.'  Sniff.

Several of us from work took our kids out today.  We put a lot of ammo thru my AR Carbine, my Krebs AK, a department Colt Commando and my Wilson .45 and Walther P22.

My friend was breaking in his new HS Precision Rem 700 and letting his daughter plink with his Ruger 22/45 w/GG&G suppressor.

It was great...other than its hotter than hell.

My son and I went to the range today. We shot .22lr and .45 semi-autos. Also shot some AR's too. But could only get in half a day's worth. We usually go for the full day but there was a cowboy action shoot going on during mid-morning to mid- afternoon.

Unloaded some 62.gr Winchester this afternoon.

Took a buddy to the range who had never shot before and was "scared" of guns.

Add one more convert to the list. Ah, the joys of educating the masses.[sniper]

Why, YES!  Yes I did! [;D]
Ran into a new ARFCOM member, too...AnthonyZ.
Welcome to the world of the Black Rifle, buddy!
He was sighting in his first rifle, a Bushmaster M4gery, no less.
Sat RIGHT NEXT TO ME and my Brother-in-Law, sharing the benefits of the Y-COMP...! (just razzing ya, AnthonyZ.  It was definetly a BLAST)[:D]
We were shooting the 700 Police and V-MATCH.

Of course, the guy on the OTHER SIDE was shooting a new CETME in .308 --- with a MUZZLE BRAKE! [shock]
My poor Brother-in-Law went first at the bench.
The scope needed tweaking, but the STEREO CONCUSSIONS weren't conducive to concentration, if you know what I mean.
It was kinda comical at first.
We had the rangemaster dial in the scope to get it a little closer to the paper...and we got 'em both on target at 100-yds.  That was the objective today.
I absolutely will NOT be getting a muzzle brake on the AR10.  Not a chance. [;)]
Great Father's Day.
Church and Communion.
Shooting at the range.
Steak dinner at Mom's.
Cool gifts, too.
Excellent!
