Its been a while since we played this game.
Here are the rules, If you answer a question right, you get to ask one. If you ask a question, you have to stick around till someone answers it or hand the torch over to someone else. Got it? Here we go. Easy one. In the last episode of the Soprano's, the old hit man kills Mustang sally with what kind of gun? Brand of gun is good enough to win. |
Don't tell me this question is too hard.
I know that there are a good number of Soprano fans here. |
We don't get HBO so I've never seen it. Consensus is that it's a good show though, so I might pick up the first season on DVD.
The answer was a sig.
Ok, I'll ask a different question. In the movie HEAT, name 4 guns used in the bank robbery fire fight. You can name guns that were used by good guys and bad guys. good luck. |
bad guys M16A1 comando carbines
L.A.P.D benelli super 90 beretta 92's bank security 4" smith mod.66 |
Hmmm....let's see.....
Al Pacino uses an FNC during the bank hold up. DeNiro and Kilmer are using full auto CAR-15's (XM177E1's?) I believe that it was a Mossberg 590 Shotgun used by Sgt. Drucker. Wes Studi's character is using an M16 (A1, I believe). Had to get out the DVD [}:)] |
I watched it frame by frame and the mossberg is a benalli with a mossberg heat sheild
I bow to XM15E2's superior knowledge. I haven't handled a benelli ever, darnit. I didn't recognize the AK type rifle Tom Sizemore was using either. [B)]
Looks like XM15E2 is the winner.
Hit us with your best shot.[:)] |
in a few good men the suicide weapon that J.T. Walsh used was a................
and it was refered to as a................ in court????? |
ok someone help me out on the Benelli/Mossberg issue. Are we talkin about the Black officer at the main shootout? I could swear that a Mosseberg. Havent had that much experiance with a Benelli so that may be why I dont see it. Can someone explain how they come to that conclusion? [>:/]
Tom Sizemore's character used a Galil, not the SAR but one with a long barrel (16"?) with built in bipods, and a folding stock. Robert DeNiro's character used a SIG SauerP220 in .45 ACP. In the end when he went to the hotel room to kill the long haired "bad guy", in the elevator he checked to make sure there was a round in it, grasping and pulling back the slide a little by the muzzle end.
In the drive in theater where the guy gave him a bag full of papers, the guy that slipped out of the white Dodge truck that was going to shoot Robert Deniro carried a TMP. |
sorry not to clearify
mossberg was used by black officer but the uniformed officer behind police car had a benelli with a mossberg type heatsheild |
I know im cheatin but what make, model and caliber were the guns that niclas cage used in the movie face off.they were the gold ones
As Biggs would say in Star Wars, "stay on target".[:)]
Does anyone know the answer to XM15E2"s question? It was "in a few good men the suicide weapon that J.T. Walsh used was a................ and it was refered to as a................ in court?????" Anyone? |
akira
this is a 2 part question you have the first part correct.. but it was called something else in court. it always pissed me off....... |
Thanx for the clarification, I didnt think i was that horrible at identification. I watched it frame by frame on the DVD while reading the posts. Im not all that crazy after all [}:D]
I don't know.
All I remember was the nickle 92f. As a guess, I can say, they called it a .45. |
Lucky guess.[:D]
Ok.... In the movie "Quigly Down Under" What kind of rifle did Quigly use? Brand of rifle will be fine. |
hmm.....
What kind of Shotgun is referred to as a "Crowd Pleaser" in the move "Virtuosity"? |
Not a street sweeper. Definantely not.
Go check the flick out, it's kind of cool. 6/10, it's a rental for most folks. Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe (naked, btw, ladies take note here). Pretty easy once you see it. |
afraid I didn't see it but I'll give it my best shot.
spas12? BTW, very common in movies |
Good correct guess akira [:)]
too common. Liked the street sweeper guess, though. Crowd pleaser for sure there. |
yup I never saw it either
but hell if we are just guessing...... thunder 5? |
Whoo hoo
2 lucky guess's.[:D] Ok.... In Terminator 1 Name 3 of the guns Arnee gets at the gun store. As a bonus question, name the rifle that the store keeper doesn't have.[:)] |
Phased Plasma rifle in the 40Megawatt Range!!!!
I can't remember the others, and T1 isn't on DVD yet [:(] |
LOL[:)]
Store keeper: "hey pal, only what you see". now name three guns that Arnee gets |
AMT longslide with laser sight, Uzi 9mm, and AR180. [:D] Milldude
I though it was a hk91.
Oh well. Looks like mildude got it. Ask away.[:)] |
I'm not sure on the 180- he might have gotten it at the police station. He "offed" the gunshop owner with the SPAS- come to think of it! [:D] Milldude
akira, have you been up ALL night long trying to get to Senior Member status, or what!?
You're almost there, buddy! |
Name the three pistols Don Johnson carried in "Miami Vice". (He carried only one at a time, but they changed with the seasons). [:D] Milldude
hehehe
Almost, there I guess. Haven't been thinking about that. Just bored and had an itch to play Movie trivia game.[:)] |
Ouch, tough one Milldue.
I havn't watched Miami Vice since it came out back in the day. [:)] |
1. Bren Ten
2. no clue 3. see answer #2 scottMO Guess: colt .45 beretta 92 |
Actually, I read this somewhere a long time ago. I think Guns& Ammo done an article on 'The guns of Miami Vice' back in the 80's. My memory isn't as good as it used to be! [beer] I believe they were Bren Ten, S&W .45, and Browning Hi power. The Browning was in 1 or 2 episodes at the most. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. [:D] Milldude
Good question.
Very difficult if your not a big Miami Vice fan. You wanna ask another or let someone else take a shot at it? Your call[:)] |
any answer for the movie face off yet ill check back later iknow.
