If what you are looking for is to add a detachable magazine to a Rem 700, I think Robar is doing a mag well conversion that accepts M-14 magazines. Check out their site:

www.robarguns.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=5&tabindex=3

It looks like HS Precision is doing conversions as well:

And so does the Texas Brigade Armory:

Sure. . . HS Precision makes one, which Brownell's sells, or you can call HS Precision directly.
It is a 10rd magazine, with the replacement floor metal and trigger guard assembly.  Very easy to install, with the right tools.  I believe they also offer a 5rd magazine as an accessory.
In fact I installed the 10rd magazine floor metal assembly in my Remington LTR.
Pretty bad ass now with the 10rd mag. . . for a bolt action weapon that is.

HS Precision: www.hsprecision.com/new_10_round_magazine.htm

Brownell's: www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=6867&title=REMINGTON+700+DETACHABLE+MAGAZINE&s=17207#17207

Here are a couple pics of the conversion. . .
