Has anyone ever bought from AIMSurplus, specifically the Romanian AK?

What are the thoughts on the Romanian WASR-10 from AIM Surplus?



Are there better buys to be had?

I bought a couple of SAR-2's a year ago from AIM.  Nice operation.  I also bought a couple of WASR-10's (lo-cap) from Centerfire Systems.  Also a good operation.  Most of the recent Romanian stuff I have seen has had the bugs worked out.  You still want to check for canted front sights and gas blocks.  When you call to place an order, ask these questions:  Is the item in stock?  What is the total price with shipping and sales tax (if applicable).  How well is the rifle packaged to guard against damage?  What are the return policies if you are unsatisfied?  If you are satisfied with the answers, then let the credit card rip.
