The topic is pretty self-explanatory

I plan on being sick that day (cough, sneeze)...

And, with luck, I'll be able to run down to Ammoman's warehouse and pick me up some booty, arr!

Anyone else takin the day off and have alternate workday plans?

I'll be off that whole week!

I'm going to be with my girls. Either it will be a week of merriment, or a week of using them as therapy for my abject depression.

Hopefully the former....

Yes.

The school district is shutting down the schools...so the kidlets will be home pestering Miz LWilde.  We are taking them to vote so they will learn their civic duty and become good Republicans.

I'm going to be puttering doing some chores and...if the weather is good, headed to the range with evil black guns.

We are going to be very careful too...

Probably.  I've got to leave NYC and take a 3.5hr train ride to PA to vote.

Haven't you heard? American blood is supposed to be running in the streets that day.

Yep.  It would make voting MUCH easier considering I work 60 miles away from my polling place.  It may sound paranoid but I'm not taking any chances going into DC that day.  That's a prime spot to try and disrupt the elections.  I think that would be a good day to clean the AR15 too.

If you are taking the day off how about doing something to HELP!  Go to party headquarters and work the phone banks... drive shut-ins to the polls for the party... work as a poll watcher... do last minute literature drops.  Why are you all getting complacent?  Hunting??????  If you enjoy your firearms maybe you should bag a day of hunting and volunteer...

I'll be at the polls at 5:00 am when the machines are dropped off and will be with them until they are secured by the Sheriff's office around 10:00-11:00 that night.  Poll inspecting is a bitch, but its how we stop fraud.

Excellent point Hiram.

If I can get an OK to be out the entire day so I don't have to rush back to NY, I'm going to volunteer my time to help monitor in PA if possible.

Nope.  The election should be decided by the time I get off work, god willing.  If the lawyers want to duke it out in court, we wont know who wins until February.

There's a polling place less than a block from work, that's where I'll vote absentee.

Hey EE where in NY are you? I'd like to swing by Ammoman and take a look around myself.

Wave, I'll be departing from by West Point..my father's been bugging me to check it out, so I'm dragging him along as well. I get to spend two plus hours trapped in my truck with my dad. Whee.

On the upside, I plan on making him pay for everything

ETA Hmm...just noticed it's about a 3 hour drive from West Point..I'm gonna have to leave earlier than I wake up for work to make it there before they close

Ah well. It'd be worth it methinks.

I'll be at a polling place from open to close as a pole watcher/challenger/whatever.      Should be lots of fun, provided I don't get stuck in a ghetto area - I won't find out exactly where I'll be until Saturday.

I'll be working as an election worker at a local polling place. How and to whom would I report fraud should I see it?
I've been an election worker before and I have never seen anything suspicious. Even the democrat liberal poll worker took the responsibility to run an honest election seriously.

Here we have chinese ballots. I do not believe anyone who does not understand english can make informed decisions about voting. I believe English should be a requirement to become a citizen.
