Quite certain I've never ordered anything from them before, and yet they sent me an email, addressed to me by name.     www.iammo.com  AKA NetBallistics LLC in Louisville, KY.  Never even heard of them before.  Anyone know if they're affiliated with any other industry companies?

Live in Louisville, never heard of it, looking into it now.

ETA:  Drove by where they say they're located yesterday, on my way to an FFL in the area.  Didn't see anything "ammo" related sign-wise along that road at that point.  There's an indoor range about 400 feet farther down on the opposite side of the road, but they have a different address completely.  Seems slightly sketch, but then again, there's already two FFLs in the area, so maybe it's legit.

ETA 2:  Their prices are all over the map for local prices here.  On some things they're $30 below other folk (but don't have it), or $50 above.  And the lack of a distinctive storefront or roadside sign makes me scratch my head––it's not like there aren't oodles of people driving down that road anyway.

In very small gray print at the bottom of the email it reads:

You are receiving this E-mail because you agreed to become a part of this site's, an affiliate site or partner or manufacturer site's E-mail Newsletter List.
iAmmo.com does not sell or share its e-mail list without your permission meaning your address remains confidential.
Our records indicate that you signed up on 01/11/2003 from IP Address 192.168.0.1.

That's a hell of a long time to wait to send me an email advert  LOL.

192.168.0.1 is not a real IP address.  It's an "internal" address for your computer(sorry don't know how to explain it exactly).  Seems odd.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's like Mr38 says and they got my info from some other place I've ordered from or signed up with.  Searching for their name brings up zero info other than their website and one or two other sites with their ad copy.  To the junk mail folder.

Yeah, that's a default IP for some broadband routers, one brand of which I was using back in early 2003.  Who knows.

I agree, they seem very CTDesque.

I just got the same e-mail.  Now I'm guessing it might have something to do with one of a few recent orders I've made.  Probably not SKD or LaRue because I've picked up all kinds of stuff from them over the years and never had my address sold.  However I just ordered from both BCM and AFMO.com and I've never used either before.  I'm guessing not BCM . . . any of you guys make an order from either?

Well.....I can vouch for the fact that it's not LaRue or SKD; been ordering bits and pieces from both companies for a while, and nada.  Nor is it BrightFlashlights.  Order from all of them, no iammo crap.

Dunno about BCM, but I presume we would've heard about any info selling on their part by now, what with the BCM-love that goes on around here.

Or maybe they just didn't send me an email 'cause I could go bitch at them in person?
