Yes, almost all of the P2P programs use spyware.  That's how their developers pay for their efforts.  I too got KaZaA lite.  No spyware there.  Karl.

You might want to install CookieCop too. It can selectively block cookies, transform persistent cookies into session cookies, and block referrer information. This is how MS Passport and Doubleclick track you -- by inspecting the referrer information and/or with cookies. That's how they can tell where you've been.

And to think some people still believe MS is benevolent. [rolleyes]

Thanks a bunch!! My computer has been getting slower and slower.I just ran that ad-aware and removed 89 spywares mostly gator.
