I wore them when I was a kid, and when outside while in the .mil...But I can't stand them anymore.

Nope
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 1:46:53 AM EST
Yep. I really can't stand having anything attached to my head. I get used to it after a while when it's required, but prefer no hat.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 1:48:02 AM EST
Hate hard hats
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 1:55:16 AM EST
I hate 'em when my hair gets about 2"+ cuz they move around, especially in a rifle match.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 1:55:52 AM EST
I love wearing a hat. Don't get to do it as much as I would like.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 1:59:35 AM EST
Wear a hat every single day. Probably have since I was 10 or 11 years old. And I'm close to 40 now.

And no, I'm not even remotely balding.

Buddy of mine is the same way. I don't think I've ever seen him without one on. Mind if I ask why? Looks like the kids are already waring them too.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 2:09:57 AM EST
I cant stand them either. I will wear an old US Army issue cap when I do some welding. I will wear a beanie when it does get cold. But other than that, I cant stand hats.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 2:10:25 AM EST
Helicopter beanies are in.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 2:11:28 AM EST
It's rare when I don't wear a ball cap

played baseball. Just sort of stuck with me. I did have several "office" jobs where you couldn't wear a hat at work, but I would always put one on when I got home. Now, I own my own shop. It's like part of my 'uniform' lol.

I can't really say that there's a particular reason other than habit. I have always cut my hair with a #3 on top and and #1 on the sides. Not trying to hide a bad hair day or whatever. I just like hats.

ETA: None of my 3 kids even own a hat.

Don't like wearing a hat either.

I love wearing hats but they usually give me a headache since I have a 7-1/2 hat size and most hats are too small for me.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 2:32:51 AM EST
I hate NOT wearing hats. Always have a baseball cap on.

I've always hated hats. The best hat going right now is the Army PT fleece, though.

I've noticed guys who wear hats all the time are usually going bald early and I wonder which comes first, the hat because of the early balding or the early balding because of the hat?
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 3:28:50 AM EST
I have a LaRue Fleece hat
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 3:58:01 AM EST
For us bald guys !!! NO - wearing a hat saves your head
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 4:21:40 AM EST
I dont much care for hats/caps. I will only wear one when working outside.
Never felt comfortable wearing them indoors or on when I eat.
I blame the military.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 4:27:01 AM EST
Depends on the hat.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 4:47:08 AM EST
I hate them and find them pointless.

This. I only wear a hat for hunting and to keep my head warm in winter.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 5:10:44 AM EST
I only wear mine because the military forces me to else I would never wear any.

When I was growing up, I always had old women telling me that wearing a hat caused baldness. I'm now 40 and still have all my hair. What I've seen is a lot of friends who started wearing hats after their hair started going, and guys like me who have hair and are wearing hats less to show they're not bald!

No, I wear caps and I like it.
They are great for shading the eyes in the Florida sun.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 6:44:11 AM EST
I either have a hard hat on or a ball cap on.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 6:46:33 AM EST
Hate them. I'll only wear them if I have to.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 6:47:22 AM EST
No hats here
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 6:48:16 AM EST
If I'm outside I have a hat/cap on.

Only slobs wear a hat/cap indoors unless it's a job requirement.

I also played baseball. I feel naked without a hat on. Been wearing one everyday since I was a kid. No signs of balding :)

The only time I wear a ball cap is when I'm at work because I have to.

I never wear one when I'm not working.

Always hated hats.

But the scar from my right temple to my jaw (skin cancer) reminds me to put on sunscreen and grab a cover, every day.

Link Posted: 9/23/2014 8:40:05 AM EST
Yes but only because my head is so big that most hats won't fit and most of the ones that do fit are tight.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 8:41:08 AM EST
You're in Arkansas and can't stand hats? Dang, I hate going out without one. The sun, the sun!
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 8:41:35 AM EST
They're okay. I wear them if I'm going to be in the sun a lot.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 8:49:08 AM EST
I am pro hat.

I don't like hats, but I wear one when I'm outside.
The Sun is no longer my friend.

I don't need a hat, I have hair.
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 9:06:33 AM EST
I wore one all the time in high school and college. Now I only wear them for functional reasons (out in the sun all day, keeping hot brass off my face). It doesn't bother me to wear them. Now sun block on the other hand...

Give me a head ache
Link Posted: 9/23/2014 9:08:40 AM EST
I am not a fan, I wear them on rare occasions and normally it is bothering me doing so.

But I can wear the shit out of a beanie.
