Looks like they have a sale going on, Prices are great but is the ammo any good? www.southernammo.com/prod02.htm Legend for abbreviations: C = corrosive, NC = non corrosive, BE = Berdan-primed, BO = Boxer-primed AP = Armor piercing, BT = Boat Tail. .308 Ball, U.S. and Israeli, manufactured during the mid 70's to mid 80's, 147 gr. BT bullet, BO *,NC. $105.00/1000. .308 Tarnished Ball, This ammunition is the same as the .308 above except that the cases are slightly dark. It shoots well, just doesn't look real pretty. $89.00/1000. .308 Ball (Slightly dented) This ammunition is the same as the .308 above except that it has some small dings. This ammunition has been checked in a chamber gauge and will chamber. $80.00\1000 .308 Ball linked, This is the same as the 308 above except on links and in 30 cal ammo cans. $107.00\1000 .308 Blanks, (Grenade launchers) Israeli made, Mid 70's, Brass case, BO, NC. $41.00/1000. .223 Ball, U.S. and Israeli, manufactured during the mid 80's, 55 gr. BT bullet, BO *, NC, Brass case. $104.00/1000. .223 Ball (slightly dented) This ammunition is the same as the .223 above except that it has some small dings. This ammunition has been checked in a chamber gauge and will chamber. $83.00/1000 ( * ) There may be a very small percentage of Berdan primed mixed in this ammo but the vast majority is Boxer primed. Think I may just try them out, what the hell... [whacko]
