I have seen plenty of rifles with names, but I can't be the only guy who totes around a "special someone" with a name, right?
My Glock 30 is named Sunshine.
I was approached by some "ethnic" "gentlemen" and asked if I wanted to see a free show about not joining gangs called "Ain't no Sunshine in tha Hood." I replied that I always take Sunshine to the Hood and the name has stuck. It makes for an excellent code word when you need it to.
My cousin named his Glock 21 Tennifer cuz it sounded feminine.
Anybody else? Please God, let there be others.

Interesting, cerebral and true. Rifles get named much more often than handguns. Any handgun I rely on is called "lil' darling".

My AR10 is called "Big Green". Hmmm... good observation.

Why is this? Do rifles have more personality?

My buddy named my .50 Desert Eagle:
"The Bitch. Rips your heart out before you even know what's goin' on and all your left with is a huge, bloody, gaping hole in your chest."

He was having some problems with his wife at the time. They are better now, but I still kept the name for the gun.
