I have recently opened a box forgotten since our last move, it has some real goddies in it. Three one quart bottles of whiskey bottled in the early through late sixties.

All of them are in perfect condition with tax seals completely intact.
The brands are Chivas Regal, Jack Daniels (Green label 90 proof, this is vintage green label not low grade modern Green label), and a quart of Southern Comfort 100 proof.

ETA: Should I drink them, save them or do they have some kind of value?

Wow, thats old stuff.

In my grandmothers yard, we found some moonshine and other liqour that my grandfather had buried to hide back in the 60s and 70s.

Just drink them, once booze is put in a bottle it stops ageing(spelling?)

a case of beer for em.

Moon shine is a whole different thing, if I am not mistaken month old shine is considered vintage.

Yeah, I figured that once the booze is taken out of the barrel it has aged as much as it is going to. I am not a big Southern Comfort fan anyway, so letting it sit isn't going to bother me, but that Chivas is looking awful good.

drink it, because somewhere in africa, they have no food or liquor, and it would be a sin to let it go to waste.
