Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anybody know anything about electronic Gyros? [RC helicopter type]

Im gonna make a new project. Its gonna be a self leveling platform for a camcorder. like this one found here.

Basically I wanna make a smaller version using helicopter gyros and servos. It shouldnt be hard, but I know little about gyros.

Any suggestions on what gyro/servo to use?
