Not Jesus, God!

The big guy, the Father, the omnipotent one.

Just curious [:)]

No, statues of the Big Guy are verboten.

But there's a really nice portrait of him on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel!

Wait, a minute, I just happen to have a pic here somewhere of that painting, let me see....

Wait a sec! That's doesn't look right for some reason, let me get a closer look....

Yep, I thought so! Sorry guys, but this is not a painting of the Lord at all!

It's just a mock-up that I made for an ad campaign when I was considering a run for District Judge in Collin County!

As I once mentioned on full-auto.com, some Moderators have illusions of being god-like!

I have illustrations!

ETH, that's the funniest "damned" thing I've seen in a long time![:D]  Especially by Ericthe(sacrilegious)Hun!

LOL!

Kudos to PoliticalScience, who did the photoshopping for my abandoned ad campaign for District Judge.

My slogan for the race? 'Judge not, lest ye yourself be Judged! So let me be your Judge!'

Focus groups thought it was too confusing.

I agreed and abandoned the campaign, throwing my support to fellow candidate Judy Iscariot, who, unfortunately, did not win, despite wide name recognition by voters!

Maybe so, prk, but I hardly think the Lord considers the painting of some foolish human conception of what we all know is not His likeness, to be a sin.

To worship the man-created image of what we all know is not His likeness would be a sin.

That's why I told y'all to be seated! [:D]

Hey Eric -

I'm sensing some "impertinence" here.

Consider yourself reprimanded.

Impertinence, garandman? How so?

Surely you don't consider the painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel to be anything like the Creator, or a likeness of Him, in any manner?

How can one be impertinent to a fresco? [:D]

Well there are tons of pictures and paintings and statues of Jesus and Jesus is God, so yeah I've seen a statue God I guess...although it violates one of the Second Commandment.
