Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anybody ever install a keyless entry system in their car?

My car has power locks but when parking somewhere I can only lock the driver door from the outside with a key. Anybody ever install one of these kits?  Thanks in advance.

This is one of those things that is truly best left to a professional.

Even the pros have databases that they consult with specific install instructions for each particular model of car. You can put yourself in some serious hurt real fast if you don't know exactly what you are doing.
