This is about to piss me the fuck off. I have been trying for two fucking hours to change their stupid fucking advertisement to something different with no luck. Connect to the fucking desktop manager. Activate mass storage device. Double Click on email settings. Go to phone browser. You do not have permission to alter this account.

WTF BITCHES??? I just want to change the fucking signiture line from "Sent Via T-Mobile BlackBerry" to "I wanna throw this fucking phone against a fucking wall." Is that so hard??

Has anyone ever been victorious over this seemingly menial fucking task?????

Have you tried changing it in the phone itself w/o being tethered to the PC?

Yeah. I googled how to do it and it said to do it from the handheld device. So from the handheld device it tells me to use the PC. After no luck I got to T-Mobile.com and it tells me to do a bunch of shit that isnt showing up on my media manager.

Then I reached critical mass, and decided to ask someone that has maybe done it before.

Go into your email, pull up your email menu, go to Options, then to Email Settings and you should be able to edit it there.

I don't mind it on my iPhone. It lets people know I'm NOT in the office or on vacation.

I did, using the desktop manager thingie.

Mine now says "Sent from my chokechain".

I get compliments from management on it daily.

When I go through my browser, the links are not highlighted and won't allow edits. The only thing I can click on is the question mark after each option.

Are you on Blackberry Enterprise Server? If so, the administrator may have you on lock down. I can't change my settings related to timed lock out or the message that displays when locked among other things. It really sucks when you're typing a message and it locks you out in the middle. Our idiot technology people didn't even have the damned common courtesy to set it up so it locks out after 15 min of inactivity - ours lock out after 15 minutes no matter what.
