AND go in early because we are closing early?? Here I am up at the butt crack of dawn, and I'll probably be home by 2 p.m. I'm on the schedule till 7:15 tonight. I have to work tomorrow too.

I'm working right now. I work nights, 6pm to 6am. Will be keeping that schedule for the next few weeks at least.

2300-0700, 5 days a week. Feels like I only get 1 day a week off.

I got called in at 6pm for a 12 hour 9-9 night shift. I had planned to sleep tonight but I'm sure a night at work will be just as refreshing... Not like I woke up this morning and had a busy saturday that I was not supposed to work let alone a night shift.

Ewwwww....I worked that same shift several years ago. I never knew if I was coming or going!!! I do get three days off in a row, but I've had to give up my weekends and most holidays to get it.

 I THOUGHT after Dec 25th things would slow down a bit and I would get a little free time, but that is not the case. I forgot all about everybody who got a gift card for XMas or just flat out hated thier gift. Then there are the people who are now out of money all together but still have that nasty shopping bug riding thier backs.

Yes, I work in retail hell!!!!! I approve (or not) credit and credit card applications for Macys. It's still better than Home Shopping Network where I worked before. YIKES!!! 6 days off in 10 weeks??? Sheesh!!!! Save some vacation time will ya!!!!??!!

I spend it when I can. Just not in the summer months. BTW: Macy's has a REALLY good dress department. The rest of the store sucks though.

They don't have a sporting/gun department either. I get employee discount cards and stuff all the time. Sometimes up to 50% off. If ya want, next time I get a few I'd send them on to ya. I don't wear dresses.

I just worked 1500-0700, and I'll be back at 1500 until 1100 monday, then monday night 2300-0700. Looking forward to tuesday morning since I don't come back til friday night

Go to Dallas tonight. Spend New Year's Eve in the hotel. Come home tomorrow - if they don't decide to keep me out for another 4 days. But God bless those who are much farther away from home. Even though I won't be able to lift one to ya, I'll be thinking about it. |

Gotta fix up the victims of drunk driving & put epidurals in mommies who want their babies this tax year (inducing labor early). FWIW my wifey's 9 months pregnant and has decent chance of going into labor this weekend, and we're NOT doing a year-end induction. |

Well, I got home about an hour ago, and I'm not happy.
 Just about everybody in the place went home early, but because I was closing, I was one of the last ones called. It didn't matter that I was one of the first three people in this morning.  I'm going to bed, so I can do it all over again tomorrow.  I can't wait to go hunting in March. I need a break!!!
