The last sled I was on was a '72 Scorpion 440. I was 7 when my Dad sold it.

One of the conditions for the wife getting her way and us moving back to MN from TX was that I would get to buy a snowmobile. Gimme a year or so...

Nice driving my sleds out of my driveway. I don't even own a trailer.

Old 1993 (I think.........old sled!!) Yamaha V-max4 with 2600 miles. I like the sled, pretty fast, starts easy, very reliable, but that 4 cylinder engine just sucks the gas. I think I get around 7 or 8 mpg with it.

Oh well.

Here's my even older sled 1984 (vmax84 ) Yamaha V-max 540. I loved that old thing. May she rest in peace.

I don't think I've ever seen a snowmobile in person...

vmax84 I had one of those sleds it was the fastest thing on the snow in its day. The newer sleds are still a fuckin pain in the ass with up keep.

For some reason, I've always liked the older sleds. May have something to do with not being able to afford a new one, too!!

I hear that. The new sleds are getting outragous in price but for me its my number one hobby and would sell all my outher toys before the sled.
