Im wanting to write one to both local and country Chiefs. I want to know where they stand on the issue of gun control and am not sure how to approach the letter. I want it short and to the point, but also want to be able to cite a list of other LEO officials who have said they will not support the ban. The county itself has some rough areas, but locally we dont experience much gun crime(only 2 events I can recall in the last few years). What do you think would be the best approach for me to take to do this?
