I am still fighting mine. I got a couple charges taken off, but I am still being charged 500 plus and they are saying the charges are valid.

They sent copies of invoices from the scammer who is in hong kong. The invoice has my shortened name -  I go by as I put in my order to skd tactical - and a hong dong address.

Sunuvabiscuits!

Is there a particular reason they claim the charges are valid?

Name of credit card company?

Did they ship the package to your billing address? Does the name match the name on the card? Doesn't matter if they have your name though.

nope. address is in hong kong.

The name doesn't even match.

example:

Say my name is Michael. I put Mike in ship-to on the order form from the website of the tactical gear company a dozen or so here got screwed as well.

The invoice has Mike instead of my full name.

Then it's BS by the credit card issuance bank. If you're credit card bank is processing an overseas charge when the billing address isn't an authorized address, and the names don't match, you need a new credit card company and file a complaint with the relevant agency.

Look onlline for an affidavit form contesting the charges. You may have to have it notorized. Anyway once you dispute charges you have a grace period where you do not have to pay until the issue is resolved.

You also need to let us know the BANK name of the credit card company (not visa/mc) so others can avoid it lousy customer service.
