Wanting to upgrade my phone wondering if any useful firearm apps or any very useful apps, besides angry birds i may want to use. Wife does have an iPhone so I would be able to test them out if there is a free one. Thanks

The Nikon SpotOn app is good.

Select scope you're using, select caliber and ammo type, select target range and desired zero distance - calculate!

You can also adjust for altitude, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed/direction, height of gun sight.  It's a good app.

Don't waste your time with the "gun toy" apps, they're useless.  Do you really need to see a 360 rendering of what a 1911 looks like on your little phone screen?

Search "shot timer" there are a couple.  There are also Mil-dot ranging apps that let you practice your ranging on the phone.  You can select Army or Marine mils.
