The largest shipwreck in the Caribbean is located at Aruba. It's really cool because the ship is oriented pretty vertical so you can snorkel on one end and dive the other end. Pretty sure it's called the " Antilla".

Dove there in 08 myself.

Pretty neat dive.

Antilla wiki link

We stayed at the Renaissance Marriot (I think that was the name) and it had a boat that would pick you up in the lobby and take you to their own private island just offshore.  There wasn't any diving on that island, but it was a great feature for added privacy/quiet.

I think Baby Beach was the hangout the locals used.

A great restaurant was called El Gaucho.  Not sure if it's still there, but the steaks were excellent.

I'd recommend this book from amazon.

Dove that, and did a night dive through a downed plane. That was a great experience.

Also ran out of air when a storm made things rough. Another experience, just not a great one.
