Yeah druggists, NOT druggies [:)]  Anyway, I'm going through my hiking gear and came across an old perscription I had a long time ago.  Since I do a lot of back country hiking, I took the remains of my Percocet pills with me (that I got when I had my wisdome teeth out) just in case I broke a leg or something like that.  The perscription is dated 9/14/99.  Would these pills still work today, or should I can them from my pack as they'd maybe do more harm than good?

They'll work.

They will work, probably even if you meant 9/14/1899. It is pretty stable stuff and I have seen similar meds that were at least fifty years old and still effective.
