Then it would take 'X' amount of time to get to top pay.

Huh? UPS pay scale is based on time served?

eta: Not trying to stir shit or

, that methodology just seems strange to me.

I don't find it strange, I just want to know the time frame.

My son just quit from UPS. He bailed because he couldn't feed his family on his 'full time' job only working 10 or 15 hrs a week. Some full time job sitting around hoping they have work for you that day.
