I want to have custom icons made for this place and the forums. (I've stolen most of the icons used on the site from like 30 different places... they're common and boring!!!)

If [red]ANYONE[/red] is a graphic artist and/or can make some KICK ASS web icons PLEASE let me know! We can try to work something out if you want fundage for it... /me criez

I've talked to a few Icon Building companies and they charge a "BUTT LOAD" to do this stuff... (Great work though, but I don't have the money to waste on icons!)

Again, if you can fit this bill, PLEASE email me and lets talk!!!

I want to replace all the forum icons with something custom made and nicer... some sort of themed set of icons that go together and are easy to identify! (Can use them in buttons if need be, like the new post topic button...)

I'm also trying to avoid shelling out the big bucks these Icon guys try to charge you, and not spend my time working on things which may or may not look good. (I can do images pretty well, but man when its shrunk to icons, I have ZERO talent for it. I think it's my inability to work with small objects... thank god I have a large... uhhhm... ya know...)

I'd just like to give the place a nice feel to it with some nicer icons/buttons all around.

Ummm, I can sort of make icons. Made my aviator one. The tin foinl hat one has me stumped though.

I can draw a picture of just about anything, I am not sure if that will be good for what you need? I don't know much about putting them on the computer though.

I heard McUzi hired some ad agency with his lottery winnings to create those graphics... but that may have just been a rumor...

I'm talking someone to make those cute little icons for profile, quote, edit post, lock, delete, new topic, etc...

Check out icon factory, those guys make some VERY nice icons... they also charge $100 an hour per person PLUS some sick fees for prototypes of themes BEFORE they even start working... MAN I NEED THAT KINDA LOVE!!!

Like I said, for that kinda cash, I'll stick with ugly and borrowed!!!

Don't nobody here make kick ass little icons??? I'm sure if I asked for "fake nudie pics or RBAD" that people would flood the site with pics!!! (Heehee myself included!!! I can picture your head on Janet Jacksons body... mmmm RBAD Jackson... ROFLMAO!)

A little story about my day.

After a great nights[sleep] , I woke up around 6:00am. Logged on the [img]http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/MiscManhack.gif[/img] and checked out AR15.com.and [argue] for a while. Since it was my [bday] I was feeling pretty [:D].

On the way over a [img]http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/trooper.gif[/img] pulled my [img]http://www.tartarus.net/images/trans/land/roadster.gif[/img] over a gave me a good [stick] for speeding, I was [pissed]
Anyway, I picked my [img]http://www.tartarus.net/images/people/people.gif[/img] up so we could spend the morning [shotgun] [img]http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/hamstergerbil.gif[/img]. We had a great time [shotgun] at [img]http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/hamstergerbil.gif[/img]-- and [img]http://www.tartarus.net/images/food/pepsi.gif[/img] all morning.

Tim I sentcha the detailed info in an email... (a little while ago!) just haven't check email since... will do so when I get home.

If those interested can do some sort of sample icons (say replacements for the folders, one base one for no new posts, one for new posts, and maybe two other icons in this matching set) I would love to see them and it would help me see where people's mindset is.

It would be really kewl if we could replace the folders with like an AR15 (ak, pistol, 50 for the other sites) and then a firing m16 (not animated) for new and normal folders... but making them not just pics (I tried it and looked pretty weak) but solid icons... that would kick ass IMHO... then to make icons/buttons for the normal items like posting, quote, edit, etc that kinda go with the theme (maybe some mil looking icons or something... see I don't even know what I want!)

I can't promise I will use anything from anyone, but show off some samples and shit, membership, email, and hot sex can be on your list of wants!!! I'm even willing to work with a few of you if you guys get rolling on a theme and I end up picking a few from each of your submissions...

This isn't a huge deal, but wouldn't it be nicer? ]=)

Hey Thug those rock... I'm gonna try to go over everything people sent and see if I can post an idea of a theme to shoot for...

Thanks for everyone who's gotten emails to me and samples too... unfortunately I can't choose everyone, but maybe we can all work together by sharing the work in here as we accept icons to replace each item???

Ok at this point, unless your a PRO Icon maker, we've got plenty of volunteers I'll need to either get working together or choose from... (I hate this shit!)

I'll try to post samples as they're made and try to get direction and responses to all of you!
