I've seen them from $117 - $125. Check the Black Friday Deals thread.

I got the new style brace for $135 with free shopping at optics planet today. Might not be the best deal out there but I got it was the best I could find for no more than I looked.

Serious question . Why not spend the extra $70 and get a tax stamp for an SBR? The sig brace will eventually be banned and they look cheesy IMO.

ATF giving out black Friday deals.

$50 SBR TAX

Screw the sig brace. It sucks. Spend the extra $50-70 for NFA goodness

It is far easier traveling from state to state (for vacation, training, etc) with a pistol than it is with a SBR.

1. Some states don't allow SBRS
2. The wait time for a stamp to come back is still long.
3. Some people don't want the ATF knowing what type of guns they own.

So I can take it out of state and shoot on some friends farms and such, without any legal hassle . I agree the thing looks cheesy but the newer SBX looks  a little better ( I my eyes any way).

Use the brace while you wait for your stamp

Also it's really more than the  $200 stamp when you add in the cost of getting the lower engraved, our PD charges for fingerprinting, picture taken, taking  time off from work to go get the sheriff to sign off plus other assorted shit u have to deal with. Saying all that , I do have a stamp or two.

I travel with mine all the time. Just fill out a Form and send it off. That's it. Easy peasy.

Why not just spend a bit more to buy an MG for $20,000 instead of donating money for 8 years to Noloconendiere's legal fund to overturn the NFA?

Pure speculation. They are losing out on the revenue from tax stamps because people are using this as a way to by pass the law without breaking it. I don't think they will let it continue.

Eta: The NFA shouldn't exist at all IMO

Or, go with the SigBrace and not have to send any form off...

There's a thread here somewhere that spells out that a "shotgun pistol" builder has submitted their SG pistol with a sig brace attached to it to the ATF tech branch.  The "shotgun wing of the tech branch" disagreed with the "AR Tech groups" opinion of the sig brace.  I dont know if that discussion was speculation.  Sorry, I have no additional info either.
