Cartoon Network used to show it in their Adult Swim time slot, but since it's only 6 episodes, they don't show it very often. I got Vol. 1 (#1/2) and Vol. 2 (#3/4) from Fry's, and Vol. 3 is on its way. If you look carefully, the fight scene at school in Episode #3 has what looks like a dead Kenny from South Park flying in the air.
Sypnosis: A young boy lives with his small time trash journalist dad and his grandfather. The town has a large factory that shapes like a cloth iron that releases steam. His older brother is a baseball player who went to US. His brother's high school age girlfriend is making a move on him, a strange gal on a scooter arrived who beats his head with her bass guitar. Strange things like a robot and cat's ears are coming out of his head. What makes it so appealing to me is that aside from the usual pubescent sexual anxiety, confusion and jealousy, there's a strong Freudian subtext underneath all this (symbolism, Oedipus Complex)
And the eyebrows. Watch the creator's commentary on DVD about the eyebrows. It's pretty funny.
