I just posted a note on the other thread but I figurew I'd start a new onr just to make sure everyone saw it. I just got off the phone with Tim and it wasn't good. The surgery didn't go as planned, they nicked a blood vessel and had to stop. Now they're having to watch out for any internal bleeding. From the way he talked they are going to have to take the kidney out. So all the prayers are appreciated and needed even more now. When I get any more info on the next surgery I'll post it.

I just spoke to Tim's nurse. The medication is taking effect and Tim is getting some much needed rest. I'm supposed to talk to him later this evening and should have more info.

Things will turn out just fine for him as good fortune follows others when bad luck strikes me.

I just found out that the place I have been working for the last 10 years is going out of business next month. This will all but guarantee he will have a full recovery.

Sorry to hear this. I was just going to call and see how he was, but since the meds are taking effect, I'll wait.

I just got through talking to antiUSSA on the phone. His doctors have decided to try another procedure later this week. Right now he's tired, sore, anxious, and a bit frustrated. He says his biggest problem now is boredom.

He asked me to pass his thanks to everyone for their prayers and good wishes. He also said to tell the members in Arizona that he still needs some disco CDS.[:D]

What the??? Nicked a blood vessel? I'm a cop, not a doctor Jim...is this bad/fixable? Many prayers sent, hope this all works out. Can somebody e-mail me Tim's phone #? I know he's really busy getting operated on, recovering, listening to disco(I thought I was the only one that did that anymore), and flirting with HOTTIE nurses so I'd wait to give him a call anyway...Grin? [beer]

Not meaning to bash this fine group of people, but I thought disco went the way of the 9mm Federal(remember that one?), and the mastodons. On a more cheery note, I wish the best of luck in your speedy recovery.
