Interesting. Perp allegedly used a machine gun and was a member of some council that was meeting. Perp supposedly brought the machine gun to the meeting. Be interesting to hear the details on this one.

I suspect an accident. One Frenchman surrenders, drops his gun, it fires as it hits the ground injuring another frenchie. Ten more frenchies hear gunfire, rush to surrender by throwing down their guns, they all go off killing 10 more frogs, it's expondential!!

Fox news just did a blurb. Shooting was in a CITY COUNCIL meeting, and the shooter was a "left wing member of the council."
Toll is now listed as 8 dead, 19 wounded. Shooter is in custody. |

Not in the US, not even in Canada, in France- on the other side of the Atlantic. And compared to their laws, Canada's gun laws are downright liberal and they make the US look like we are giving guns away at every street corner. It is VERY hard to imagine this having any negative impact on things here in the US, and may in fact support our claims that gun control is useless and the only real protection to mass shootings is to encourage the populace to arm themselves for both the individual and the collective defense. |
