Just put a 57 year-old with a huge intracerebral hemmorhage on a ventilator. He'll probably die in a day or two. One combative alcoholic, one dehydrated guy who's been on the floor for 4 days, one gal with a kidney stone, one with a labial (vaginal) abscess, one crazy woman threatening to kill herself, and one with chest pain after smoking a joint "with something in it". Then of course the rest of the nameless rabble that is my lot in life to look after...

You can add a little amusement to your day by coming up with clever ways to categorize
your patients/victims like this.

A cross-dresser with laryngitis is a freak who can't speak.

A retired engineer with a bladder control problem is a geek with a leak.
