Anyone who claims to speak for all of us is, quite frankly, a liar. So is the letter writer lying or is this the exception? |

from the letter:
You see, Mr. Beck, we are not an organization. We have no leaders. We have no official spokesperson. We have no age, race, ethnicity, color, nationality, or gender. Anyone who claims to speak for all of us is, quite frankly, a liar. So who is writing the letter??? |

Anon is going to get themselves screwed one day by their current 'outreach' programs they've been engaged in over the last year. For their sake they should stick to being harmless, overactive digital mischief's and not invite 'the man' into their lives. One day they're going to cross the wrong person or group and have the full resources of digital hell bought down upon them, forcing them way way way underground. IRC channels will no longer be a refuge. |

Lots of people contributed. That would make more sense. What? Like each person took turns contributing a word? SOMEONE wrote it, and said "what do you all think". Some people suggested adding something here or there, some just applied an appropriate golfclap, Some with "Ooohs" and "Ahhs", probably a few arguments, account locks, pics of tits, then SOMEONE sent it to Beck... Thereby representing Anon. Shoulda written the letter in the first person and indicated that "While I do not speak for Anon, this is what I believe we stand for". It would have made them look a bit less...silly. Sillyness is silly. |

The letter was quite polite.
PS: But if there's no leadership, who approves the sentiment?

You'd be surprised. I don't know how many times people on here have to explain that 'anon' isn't a god damn group. It's just a generic term for an anonymous person on the internet, of which there are quite a few. Most here are more or less anonymous excepting those that know each other in real life. Could you make similar blanket statements about arfcommers? Sure, but it would still be bull shit and of course have exceptions. |

But not when it comes to a group that is opening attacking companies that shut down wikileaks, which Wikileaks DOES have blood on it's hands. Wikileaks has aided and abetted terrorists by giving them the names of many people who help NATO and our military thwart attacks and find those who plot and carry them out. They have released all the names that DoD had set as important strategic areas around the world, which gives Al-Qaeda and groups like it a tool to know good spots to attack. They have released information from such sources as AARs that allow the enemy to see what attack methods are more effective than others. Fuck wikileaks and anyone who supports what they do. They are not doing a service for mankind, they are doing a disservice. |

Anon has never released a statement, a video, or a captured enemy combatant. Anon is trouble... Perhaps the good kind of trouble... Perhaps the bad. If Anon were galvanized by some paradigm shift incident, given a good cause and went full retard, I fully believe it would be a worse threat than Al Qaeda. It'd be like a malignant brain tumor for the western world. It's also nearly an impossible threat to destroy. Anon will eventually kill... Mark my words.
