I've been enjoying wild turkey 81 and 101 as well as buffalo trace. Saw "Angels Envy" today for 42 bucks. Should I FO? Is it worth the price of admission?

One of my favorites.

Also on the list of my favorites is Basil Hayden's. Four roses single barrel 2015. And Jim beam  red wheat.

That being said, I got a bottle of Angel's Envy 2015 cask strength for my father for Christmas.

Edit

Currently drinking buffalo trace and OYO Oloroso.

I have only tried the green label bottle.  It is excellent.  A little spendy.  High $70's.

Has decent reviews online.  I came across reviews for Buffalo Trace and Eagle rare and forgot how much I enjoyed those two. Each can be bad for around 22 I believe.

Off topic but my local store has a few bottles of the 2001 Limited Edition Knob Creek.  I love Knob but is it really worth the $129 premium?

I'm new to drinking bourbon, but I got a bottle of W.L. Weller Special Reserve as a gift.  Cracked it open today and I'm really enjoying it.

Probably in my top 3. Am friends with the owner/operator.

Also, pic from a few weeks ago at one of their downtown rick houses:

It's very good, and tends to be a bit sweeter in the bourbon world thanks to finishing in the port casks.

They built a new distillery downtown that is pretty cool looking, I haven't been there yet.

I'm not a fan of finished bourbon, and I personally think it's overpriced.

A touch sweet but good.

I finally tried BT and liked it. It's not Woodford Double Oakes  but good.

It is if you like it.

Bourbon (and whiskey in general) is very subjective.

No way to know if you like it unless you try it.

Not my favorite but YMMV

My friends and I are fans of it, in fact I just picked up a bottle this week  for a get together.

Agreed. It was okay, but nothing too special. I have a $40 dollar rule for my everyday bourbons. I caught a bottle on sale for $39. I won't buy another.

I only pay over $40 for hard to find or special edition bourbons.

I did not care for it and would not buy again. That seems to be the exception though.
